Zaheer Khan: Officially Hooked – See who all attended this grand celebration


Star cricketer Zaheer Khan finally got hitched to Sagarika Ghatge of ‘Chak De India’ fame and broke the hearts of many female fans. Their relationship came into limelight in last month on Instagram, when Sagarika shared Zaheer’s picture saying that “Came back home to this stranger @zakkhan34 doing #breakthebeard rather well.” For all those who don’t know about this new hashtag then this is the bread trend which Virat Kohli recently ditched by shaving off his beard and Zaheer followed this trend.


The couple has been very much in love and has been spotted together on a number of events. Recently, they attended the 10 years celebration of the former’s T-20 team and posed for shutterbugs. They announced the engagement in the month of April and are likely to get married by the end of this year.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Sagarika revealed their marriage plans saying “We will discuss all this once the T-20 cricket league is over. Right now Zaheer has to practice and once the league is over, we will all sit down and plan the dates and the ceremonies.”


The love birds finally exchanged the rings on Tuesday in a grand ceremony in Mumbai. It was a big day and was witnessed by most of the cricketers and Bollywood celebs. The list of cricket stars includes Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali, Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika Sajdeh and more.
