50 Office bearers of leading political party AIADMK was expelled by top leaders of AIADMK O Panneerselvam and K Palaniswami for apparently bringing disrepute to the organization.
Among 53 leaders who faced disciplinary action are from AIADMK’s Kancheepuram Central Unit. Also, five members of the party’s trade union wing, Anna Thozhirsanga Peravai (ATP) were also debarred.
The leaders of the organization told that they are also removed from all their post and primary membership, even asked the party workers to not any casual meeting with them.
Panneerselvam, AIADMK coordinator, and Palaniswami, the co-coordinator, announced the expulsion of the 58 people in separate statements, signed by both of them.
Panneerselvam and Palaniswami who also warned them in August 2017 which was merged by them, and also warned last month, for disruption in the party or going against the party. Following the loss on December 21 RK Nagar assembly bypoll which was sidelined by party leader TTV Dinakaran.
