Gunmen launched attack in ‘Intercontinental Hotel’ : Kabul

Afghan Official said:  at least four Gunmen has started attacking Intercontinental hotel which is situated in Kabul.

Special Forces are also being engaged in attempting to engage the Gunmen, Interior Ministry Spokesperson Najib Danish said.

As informed by Mr Danish attack began at about local time 21:00 (16:30 GMT) and there is no information regarding any casualties.

As quoted in Reuters Mr Danish said that attackers are seemed to be suicide bombers, and they were just attacking guests in the hotel.

Previously the hotel was attacked in 2011 where approx 29 people were killed along with 9 attackers.
