22 yr old Aruna Reddy from Hyderabad, Telangana bagged bronze medal at World Cup Gymnastic Series event in Melbourne, scoring 13.369 points on the first day of the finals.

Whereas, Tjaska Kysslef of Solvenia and Emily Whitehead of Australia settled for silver and gold respectively.

Ashish Kumar and Dipika Karmakar who won bronze in commonwealth games in 2010 and 2014 respectively. This World Cup series is participated by only 16 invited countries all over the world, which is honoured in itself.

Other Indian gymnast Pranati Nayak too qualified for the final but had to settle with sixth rank having overall score 13.416.

In men’s category, Patra has made into finals of Parallel bars and Ashish Kumar qualified for vaults final which will be held on Sunday of this week.
