The Education Secretary has announced the new dates for a re-examination of Economics and Math paper as of April 25 and July respectively. The re-examination of Math scheduled for July is tentative and will be undertaken by students of Delhi and Haryana region if needed.
Anil Swarup, Education Secretary confirmed the paper leak of Class X Math paper but he informed that the paper leak was limited to Delhi and Haryana area. There will be no re-examination for NRI students who took CBSE exams of Economics because the leaked papers were not circulated outside India. The police are investigating the case and detained 6 people found to be involved in the paper leak. A coaching center in Jharkhand and another in Delhi are under the scanner and their owners have been questioned.
CBSE class 10 Mathematics re-examination to be considered only for Delhi NCR and Haryana after a detailed inquiry. If there is a decision to hold re-examination in these two states, it would be held in July. In other states there would be no such re-examination.
